Pepi Hurtado-Lopez is a seasoned healthcare industry expert with over two decades of experience in life sciences, specializing in global pricing and market access strategies.
At Alira Health, Pepi leads collaborative projects with medtech, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies, developing value-driven solutions that integrate payer and patient perspectives into access strategies. Her career trajectory includes senior management positions in the Global Pricing and Market Access department of Almirall, overseeing launch preparations for innovative immunoinflammatory and CNS treatments, and senior consultant positions, both independently and with IMS Health, guiding strategic decisions in early drug development. Prior to working in market access, Pepi was a pharmaceutical researcher.
Pepi’s academic credentials include a PhD in pharmaceutics from the University of London, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in pharmacy from the University of Barcelona, postgraduate studies in business and competitive intelligence and additional training in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence.
Her extensive background enables her to provide comprehensive insights across various therapeutic areas, supporting clients in maximizing product value and patient access.
